I'll be the judge of Up tomorrow. Turns out it was going to be a hassle to go tonight, and it's gunna rain anyway. Never fear. I will see it. And I will tell you about it.
Someone emailed me today about this Politico story about the sale of CQ. The email assumed I'd read it, which I hadn't but thought I probably should. I have no idea whether Politico knows its stuff and, from the lack of named sources, don't know where they got their information.
I also don't know enough to have an opinion, although whoever buys CQ should make hiring me first on their agenda. I hadn't heard anyone in the newsroom talking about it either. Not that I know a whole lot of people in the newsroom. But I'm just (well, nearly) as interested as anyone to see what happens next. Since, you know, I'll be looking for jobs before too long. Terrifying.
Last note of the day comes to you via Uncle Sam, who sent me this. We're of the opinion that the correction on Phyllis Schlafly's age was intentional, for extra emphasis. How else could you undershoot by 10 years when the information's right there on Wikipedia?
