The new pizza day

We had a lunch meeting today with all the interns and the editors responsible for us. Well, almost all of the interns. A couple still aren't here, and a few others maybe don't work today?

One of the other interns was gutsy enough to ask if any former interns work at CQ now. Answer: Several. That's positive. They also encouraged us to look for assignments on other desks and with the other publications. I wouldn't say no to writing a couple of stories for CQ Politics, for example. We could also do stories for the magazine, CQ Weekly.

The editors are planning some future intern lunches with speakers. Sounds a little like Pizza Day!

Speaking of Pizza Day, it's half-priced pizza day at Froggy Bottom Pub around the corner. So pumped.
