So we're definitely living at GW -- good to know for sure! -- and my apartment is just a block or so from the Foggy Bottom metro station, which means it's also about four or five blocks from CQ. The J school picked 10 of us, and we're in two-person apartments. Or that's the impression I'm getting from the flurry of emails yesterday and today. We check in Saturday starting at 3 p.m., and we're having dinner as a group that night. The school also has some other events planned for us during our sojourn, including a networking event - which, based on the one I attended on my birfday, should be fun - and a trip to my favorite place in D.C. I start work on June 1.
My roommate-to-be, Kate, is also going to blog about D.C. She's an unbelievable photog (hence her internship with Washington Post Digital, which may or may not be the same as post.com), so her blog will be more colorful than mine. Which means you should check it out.
